JUSTFLOORING STOCKS AWARD WINNING FLOORS

Justflooring supplier Kährs awarded best wood floor.

Kährs wood flooring range has won the hardwood flooring category, for the 10th occasion, in the 2011 CFJ/CFA Flooring Industry Awards.

Sponsored jointly by Contract Flooring Journal as well as the Contract Flooring Association, the unanimous prize was presented, once more, for Kährs entire range of eco-friendly, multi-layered wood flooring. Votes by CFJ’s flooring contractor and specifier readers were registered in a poll earlier this year and the Award was received by Kährs’ UK Sales Manager, Harvey Booth, at an exclusive lunch located at the Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire.

Supplying an extensive range of wood floors, for both the domestic and contract markets, Kährs award-winning product format is based on the original ‘parquet’ design - invented and patented by the company in 1941. A multi-layered design - which uses hardwood down to the joint only and fast-growing spruce and pine underneath - utilises the raw material in the most eco-friendly way, whilst also providing 75% increased stability compared to a solid product.

Meanwhile, Kährs glueless Woodloc® joint enables fast, accurate installation and gets rid of gapping throughout the lifetime of a floor.

Being an leader in the industry in innovation, Kährs will be launching some new products throughout 2011.

These include its brand new retro-style Linnea Dwell range, FSC-certified Original, Linnea and Activity products, and an exclusive range of ‘world-first’ dual-labelled FSC/Fairtrade wood floors.
